About Us Wine-encore-shop is a small, new independent wine merchant formed as a spin-off from wine-encore.com, the wine buying information site established in 2001. We sell wines that have more individuality and style, the sort of wines you buy on holiday but find it hard to track down at home. We have tasted all the wines we sell and have selected them because we think they offer great value for money and much more style than similarly priced brand names. If you like (or don't like) what we sell let us know by email or telephone. We intend to add to our list slowly over the coming months when we find wines that appeal to us. Making A Purchase Buying online is really easy and totally secure.

Just visit our shop then click on the wine store to take you to a list of all our wines, listed by country. Browse through and when you find a wine you want to buy just click on "add to cart." When you have selected 12 bottles move on to your next case or go to "Checkout" and fill in the brief details we require.

We only accept orders for delivery on UK mainland and all transactions are conducted in GB£.
Purchases must be made in case lots.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express and payment can be made via our totally secure, encrypted server or if you prefer you may print off your completed order form and fax or post it to us with your credit card details or a cheque.

You will receive an order confirmation and your wine will be despatched within one working day. We will send you tasting notes by post.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling There is no charge for delivery!
Delivery Schedule We process your order as soon as your payment has cleared and you should normally receive your wine within two days. For reasons out of our control it can sometimes take up to 5 days for delivery .
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges All UK orders include 17.5% VAT
Credit Card Security
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. If you prefer you may print off your completed order form and fax or post it to us with your credit card details or a cheque.

If you cannot see the credit card entry boxes, then you may not have Java installed. (Usually you just see a blank grey rectangle).
